Vacation Schemes

Deciding where to start your career is a big decision. Balance real work with training and networking to see what a career at Dentons could look like. Two weeks will give you, and us, an insight into whether we’re a good match.

Structure

On each scheme you’ll get the chance to sit in at least two practice areas, sharing an office with your supervisor and working closely with a trainee buddy. We want to give you a real insight into life at Dentons, and you’ll be given real responsibility to match.

By attending our Vacation Scheme, you’ll automatically be assessed for our Training Contract. This could be the start of something much bigger.

Each scheme will include:

  • Workshops
  • Training Sessions
  • Formal and informal networking
  • Two practice areas
  • Exposure to real work
  • Social events
Development

We’ve designed our schemes to be one of the first steps on your journey, and to provide you with the tools you need to succeed. Along with an induction, you’ll attend workshops and practice area overviews during the scheme. You’ll also recieve and give feedback throughout.

It’s never too early to start growing your network. During our scheme you’ll make contacts that could be key to building your career. Alongside your supervisor and buddy, you’ll meet our teams via workshops, formal networking sessions and at social events.

Support

We understand it is not always easy to take time away to complete a Vacation Scheme. We offer additional support such as covering child-care costs, providing a competitive salary and providing accommodation for candidates that meet certain criteria. To discuss this is more detail please email us at graduaterecruitment@dentons.com
