The lawyers of our future start here. This is your chance to turn opportunities into big deals as a Trainee. You’ll transform challenges into solutions, meet with clients and get your hands on varied global projects. The best way to learn is to do and we won’t hold you back.
Here, you’ll gain the commercial understanding to help you elevate your career and build the law firm of the future. That’s why we include legal project management and business development, because how can you be an expert in your area if you can’t see how it all fits together?
The business of law is changing and we want you to be right there with it. You’ll be interrogating profitability and getting under the skin of our clients (and their business areas). It’s not just knowing them, it’s understanding what they stand for and using that insight to inform your approach.
Here at Dentons, innovation isn’t something that sits in isolation – we believe it comes from everywhere and from everyone, and that it is critical to what we are as the world’s largest law firm. That’s why we include it as part of our training contract, with trainees completing an innovation project or case study in each seat and taking part in ongoing piloting of new technologies and modules that help the way we work including AI, Robotic Process Automation, Blockchain and design thinking.
As you progress you’ll put the knowledge you gain into action and start building your legal career. You’ll have opportunities to relocate to one of our global locations or choose a secondment opportunity if you want it. After all, it’s experience that makes great lawyers. The knowledge that prepares you for the daily pressures of your professional career. The exposure to every corner of the globe in real time. At Dentons, you’ll get it from day one.
