Our trainees in the UK can be based in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London or Milton Keynes. Read below for more details on each office, and the work our trainees can get involved in.

Edinburgh is a fast paced hub, with clients instructing us on local, national and internal work.

Our office at Haymarket Edinburgh is in the heart of the West End, connecting our clients, contacts and colleagues in Scotland’s capital.

Training in Edinburgh

Each year we take on around 10 trainees onto our Central Belt Traineeship, which involves rotating between Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Trainees in our Edinburgh office have the opportunity to complete seats in all our key UK practice areas, alongside client and international secondments.

As Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow is a thriving economic hub home to businesses across a range of industries.

In coordination with our Edinburgh office, our Glasgow office services businesses based in the city, those based in the surrounding areas, and the many national and international companies doing business in the region.

Situated in the city’s cultural and commercial centre adjacent to the City Chambers, the Glasgow office is within a five minute walk of Queen Street train station and less than a 10 minute walk from Glasgow Central train station.

London is our largest UK office, and is based in the heart of The City. Our market-leading teams advise the world’s leading international and domestic corporations, financial institutions, governments, public sector groups and NGOs.

We are also dedicated to our local communities in London, and frequently give back via our legal advice clinics, local homeless shelters and school initiatives.
