Leah Clifton

The biggest thing for me is that at the end of the apprenticeship I will have experience in eight different legal departments and will be better equipped to decide which area of law is the right fit for me.

Being the world’s largest law firm, Dentons offered me with a plethora of opportunities and types of work I can get involved in. This is especially important to me as an apprentice, because it allows me to get a variety of experiences, and work with colleagues and clients across the globe.

I was drawn to the solicitor apprenticeship programme because it is organised in such a way that the tools to become an amazing solicitor are combined into one big package. I love the fact that that the programme provides a clear path to commercial law.

A law degree is theoretical whilst an apprenticeship is practical. Not only are you learning the law, but you are simultaneously applying it which helps you understand it better.
