Do you require minimum GCSE grades? addremove
We look for seven GCSEs grade B/grade 6 or above (including Maths and English).

Do you require minimum A Level grades? addremove
You will need to have achieved or be predicted a minimum of ABB at A-Level or equivalent.
We also encourage you to include mitigating circumstances if relevant.

Can I apply if I have a degree? addremove
Our apprenticeship programme is aimed at school leavers, as an alternative to university. If you have a degree, you should consider our Training Contract route instead.

Do you look at applications on a rolling basis? addremove
Yes, we do, however we recommend and encourage you to apply as early as possible.

Do you pay for studying at BPP University Law School? addremove
Yes, all your studies are paid for by Dentons.

Will I have study leave? addremove
You will have one day a week to study and attend classes at BPP. You will also be given time off for exams.

What training will I receive at Dentons? addremove
You will receive comprehensive training throughout the six-year programme. This will be a combination of on the job with your supervisor and more structured training, such as “Introduction to the City” and “Effective written communication”.

What support will I get throughout my training? addremove
While in the office you will be supported by a Mentor, a Supervisor and a Human Resources Manager. While studying, you will be supported by a Personal Tutor and Student Manager.

Do you accept applications from candidates who are not eligible to work in the UK and who require sponsorship? addremove
You need to have the unrestricted right to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for the last 3 years in order to be eligible for the apprenticeship.

Will I have the opportunity to go on secondment? addremove
For the first four years of the apprenticeship programme, you will be based in your respective office location (London or Milton Keynes). In years five and six you are able to apply for an international or client secondment.

Will you pay travel expenses? addremove
You will need to pay for all your travel with your salary.

Will my lunch be paid for? addremove
You will need to provide your own lunch.

How will my salary be paid? addremove
Your salary will be paid each month direct to your bank account.

Can I apply to the Solicitor Apprenticeship role if I am a graduate? addremove
No. To be eligible for our Solicitor Apprenticeship programme, applicants must be current or recent school leavers who have not yet commenced a University Degree.
