Dentons’ absence of a global headquarters and dominant national culture enables it to reflect the diversity of its clients and the communities in which it works. Different strengths, opinions, and personalities are always welcomed and valued. This creates a positive working environment in which I feel free to be myself.
Educational, enlightening, and exciting! I learnt so much during the training contract and was able to apply my learning to interesting matters and projects across my seat choices! I learnt strong professional and personal skills, developing my growth as a junior lawyer.
The inclusive culture nature of the firm. With Dentons’ focus on fostering the benefits of diversity combined with the international nature of the work and the opportunities associated with this, whether it be secondments or the ability to be involved in market leading cross border/jurisdiction legal work.
Dentons has an excellent reputation as the world’s largest global law firm. It is welcoming and friendly. There are many excellent networking opportunities and social events for trainees to develop not just as lawyers, but also as people.
It has been an amazing learning experience. Not only have I learned about different practice areas, but I have also learned a lot about myself and grown in confidence from seat to seat! It has been great to also have the opportunity to get involved in Dentons’ diversity networks.
